Return Dates Set for Boardwalk Empire and Treme

Return dates have just been announced for HBO's Boardwalk Empire and Treme, which are both back for their third seasons.

Boardwalk will debut its 12-episode season on Sunday, September 16 at 9pm ET/PT. Treme, meanwhile, launches its 10-episode season the week after that on Sunday, September 23 at 10pm ET/PT.

Marvel vs. Capcom Origins Hits XBLA, PSN in September

Capcom has announced Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, a mixture of two classic Capcom fighting games that will hit XBLA and PSN this September. The game includes the original Marvel vs. Capcom in addition to Marvel Super Heroes and will be available for $14.99 (or 1200 Microsoft Points).

Marvel vs. Capcom Origins will combine the fighting styles of the two games, offering either the one-on-one combat of Marvel Super Heroes or the tag-team style of Marvel vs. Capcom. Origins will also feature online multiplayer for up to eight players as well as a spectator mode, HD graphics, dynamic challenges and the ability to save replays.

Origins follows Marvel vs. Capcom 2, which Capcom offered as a download back in 2009. Capcom also released Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for iPhone earlier this year.

Far Cry 3 Delayed

Ubisoft announced today that Far Cry 3 has been delayed. While the game was originally announced for early September, it will now be headed to the UK on November 29th and the United States on December 4th.

According to producer Dan Hay, the delay is because the team is “taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience.”

Far Cry 3 is an open-world first person shooter set on a tropical island. Players will control Jason Brody, fighting for survival against crazy enemies while taking lots of drugs.

Resident Evil: Retribution Goes Viral

With Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil: Retribution scheduled to hit theaters this September, Screen Gems and Sony Pictures has decided to go viral with their fifth RE installment by launching an official website for Umbrella Corporation.

In addition to frequent interruptions from Milla Jovovich's Alice, the site also promotes a mobile recruiting tour set to hit San Diego sometime in the near future (Comic-Con perhaps?). The tour claims to have already hit Cancun, Mexico in April. No further dates are listed, but Cannes, France and Barcelona, Spain are marked locations of the recently ended Cannes Film Festival and the upcoming CineEurope.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Release Date And Pre-Order Bonuses

Namco Bandai has revealed that Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be released September 14th in Europe and September 11th in the US.

The upcoming fighter will also contain exclusive DLC fighters, depending on where it's pre-ordered from.

In the UK, pre-ordering at ShopTo unlocks Michelle Chang and Angel, while those who place an order with Zavvi before the September release will get Kunimitsu and Ancient Ogre.  Also announced is the 'We are Tekken' edition, which will be exclusive to GAME.  It'll come in a metal case and contain the original soundtrack of the game, a remix CD, an art book and a behind the scenes video.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be released on both Xbox 360 and PS3.
