The Harry Potter film saga may have ended, but Warner Brothers is keeping witchcraft and wizardry on our minds with Harry Potter for Kinect, an Xbox 360 exclusive coming this fall. Your upcoming motion-based wizard battles and Quidditch comes from Eurocom, developer of this year's 007 Legends, as well as Goldeneye Reloaded and Dead Space Extraction, two top-notch gesture-based spinoffs.
Eurocom's motion experience is reassuring, if worlds apart from Harry Potter.
The other hook with Harry Potter for Kinect is that you'll be able to scan your face into the game using Kinect's integrated camera and plant yourself alongside Harry, Hermione and company, as well as choose a house allegiance and clobber Voldemort.
The story in Harry Potter for Kinect spans all eight films, putting players in the most memorable moments, and includes co-op and a handful of mini-games.
As long as it's better than the atrocious Deathly Hallows' miserable Kinect implementation, we'll be set.
